Today we’re going to turn your ideas into a clear plan you can actually follow. Goals aren’t just nice thoughts—they’re decisions you make, backed up by real numbers and a real plan.
When I Felt Like I Was Going Nowhere
I spent weeks/months showing up online, trying different offers, tweaking my website over and over—and I felt completely stuck. I couldn’t answer the simple question: “What exactly am I working toward?”
One morning, I asked myself:
“What am I actually trying to achieve in the next six months?”
That question changed everything. I mapped out what I wanted, worked backward from there, and suddenly every single thing I did had a purpose.
Your 6-Month Vision: Three Simple Levels
Six months is perfect—long enough to actually make progress, short enough that you won’t lose focus.
Level 1: Your Normal Goal This is what you’ll probably hit if you keep doing exactly what you’re doing now. For me, that meant making an extra $1,000 a month doing reflexology while still driving the school bus. That’s about 17 sessions per month at $60 each.
Level 2: Your Stretch Goal This is 30-50% better than your normal goal. My stretch was $1,500 a month—around 25 sessions. To hit this, I’d need to be more visible and find more time slots.
Level 3: Your Super-Stretch Goal This is your dream-big target. Mine was replacing my $1,800 bus income plus the $1,000 from reflexology—so $2,800-$3,000 a month. That’s about 50 sessions, or 12-13 per week. If I could hit that, I could stop driving the bus and do this full-time.
Making the Math Work for You
Here’s how I turned my vision into actual numbers:
- What I wanted: $36,000 a year → $3,000 a month
- What I charge: $60 per session → I need 50 sessions a month
- Per week: 50 sessions ÷ 4 weeks = about 12-13 sessions
- Per day: 12 sessions ÷ 4 working days = 3 sessions a day
With those numbers, I knew exactly how many clients I needed to book each day. No more guessing.
The First Time I Actually Wrote It Down
The first time I put pen to paper and did this math, I felt nervous and relieved at the same time. Seeing the real numbers—session prices, how many hours I had available, the actual math—gave me back control.
That clarity gave me confidence and helped me focus on what actually mattered.
Small Actions, Big Results
Mapping it out is just the beginning. Next, you ask yourself: “What small things can I do every day to move toward these goals?”
For me, that meant:
- Sharing short videos on social media
- Posting stories about my clients (with their permission)
- Asking for feedback and permission to share those stories
- Following up with clients with home-care suggestions
- Talking about everyday moments in my practice
Consistent, honest actions bring bookings. Not because you’re perfect, but because people feel a real connection with you.
Your Turn: Map It Out
Grab a notebook and write down:
1. Your Normal Goal (what you’ll probably hit if you keep doing what you’re doing)
2. Your Stretch Goal (30-50% better than normal)
3. Your Super-Stretch Goal (your big dream)
Then pick one and break it down:
- What are you selling?
- How much does it cost?
- How many do you need to sell?
- How many per week?
- How many per day?
Make it real. Write it down where you can see it.
What’s Next
Having a clear destination pulls you forward, even on the hard days. This vision should fit your values, your energy, and your life.
Next time, we’ll talk about creating offers and turning them into income that feels right for you. For now, just get clear on your goals.
You’ve got this.
